I think that some judges are biased when it comes to that because when it comes to judging, they “expect” something out of them even without prior photos.
I think its mainly because mainly because they’re judging on the previous knowledge they have of the person and their “skills” and they judge on that rather than the actual, technical side of the photo. But I mean I know what you mean…
I’ve seen it happen alot. Its a piss off.

you can’t really argue though the whole system of “judges” don’t really have a criteria of some sort. Anyone can be judges… whether they have technical skills themselves… i think thats also effecting people like you, because their comments are sometimes really unnecessary.

and another thing, you shouldnt leave. You’re a BIG inspiration to me, watching your skills, and most importantly your amazing creative ART :}. Im an art student too, first year at that too. haha! I would hate to see you leave, i really would! I mean if you do leave, I hope its not anytime soon. :/

but people really think they have the ‘right’ to say those mean things just because they have a title. Its just plain rude, and really unecessary. Seems like they’re talking out of their butt.

Agree with ejj, although sometimes I doubt the judges are even considering the applicants/contestant’s previous skill…

OMG Yes you guy’s… I absolutely hate when judges play favourites. Hello does having your legs spread out in a photo mean you’re a whore… Ive gotten that comment way too many times. And then if I close her legs they will say something else. But if that person over there… is better than me they will probably praise the person for that pose even though thousands of other people do it. I hate when my photo is just made fun of and not given any points of advice. When you judge you dont just say.. oooh pretty sim and talented person. You look at the tiny details that make the picture.At least thats the way I think its fair and the way I do it. I have also thought to take a break, but all you haven to do is show those people that they are not better than you because they get to criticize your photo at that one moment in time.

And kait you cannot leave… you know how empty I will be not looking at gorgeous photos from u all the time… and not only photo’s but some sexxy ass sims. LMAOOOOOOO. But yes this is all total bull crap… if the judges are just going to make fun of a picture and not help the person improve then why have them. Helllllooooo. LOL. OK I think Im done.
